The Heart and Soul of Greece and Santorini

Dazzling white-washed villages and lively ports are a backdrop to ancient sacred sites that continue to lure travelers and
scholars since ancient times. The Acropolis, perched on a high hill in the center of Athens is stunning. The mountains
outside Athens hold the mysteries of the Oracle at Delphi and Santorini captivates you with its connection to Atlantis. In
addition to the fabulous food and wine, you’ll be embraced by the locals as you absorb the beauty and energy of ancient
sacred sites such as the Temple of Zeus, the Acropolis, and the Temple of Poseidon. (Not to mention, the sunsets on
Santorini are said to be the most beautiful anywhere in the world!) Get ready for an uplifting adventure for the
Heart, Soul and Spirit.
                                                 Tour Itinerary
Day 1: May 14, 2019  Tues.     Evening departure USA for Athens, Greece.

Day 2:   May 15 Wed.   Group transfer airport to hotel is at 11 AM.   Group Welcome Dinner
Morning arrival and transfer to the hotel. Settle in, rest and enjoy lunch on your own. Jen will host a Group Orientation and
Introductions from 3 – 4:30 pm. Afterward enjoy an easy walking tour with your private guide and visit Lycabettus Hill
which offers an incredible panoramic view of Athens. From the hill you can see some monuments of ancient Athens, such as
the Temple of Zeus and the Panathenaic Stadium. With the help of the telescope (which is on the hill) one can see up to
Aegina Island, if the sky is clear. We will end up in the famous Plaka area and enjoy a Group Welcome Dinner at a local

    Day 3: May 16 Thursday   Meals: B,L,D
    Athens City tour and Cape Sounion Temple of Poseidon
    Today enjoy a morning tour of Athens, named after Athena - protector of
    female wisdom. Visit the Royal Palace and the Panathenian Stadium, Temple of
    Zeus, and Hadrians Arch. The Acropolis reveals architectural masterpieces of
    the Golden Age of Athens, the Propylae, Temple of Athena Nike, Erechtheion
    and finally the "harmony between material and spirit, the Parthenon. After
    lunch enjoy a scenic drive along the coastal cliffs and beaches of the Aegean
    Sea to Cape Sounion and The Temple of Poseidon. The Temple of Poseidon,
    surrounded in myth and mystery, is perched on the craggy rocks above Cape
    Sounion and is one of the most famous archaeological sites in all of Greece.

    Day 4: May 17 Friday  Meals: B,L,D  / Full day tour to Delphi
    This morning we begin a scenic drive into the mountains to visit the
    breathtaking site of Delphi; believed to be the “navel” (omphalos) of the
    world and where Apollo’s most important and famous oracle, Pythia, was
    located. Apollo's sanctuary was built by Cretans who arrived at Kirrha, the
    port of Delphi, accompanied by the God Apollo in the form of a dolphin.
    Follow the Sacred Way up to Apollo’s Temple, where his oracle priestess
    delivered her oblique prophecies. Marvel at the beauty of the landscape and
    consider the never-ending search of mortal people for truth and the true
    meaning of life. We will visit the exquisite Delphi Museum, full of
    masterpieces including the bronze “Charioteer”; one of the very finest
    examples of classical Greek sculpture. Return Athens: Royal Olympic Hotel
    Day 5: May 18 Sat  Meals: B, L,D   Santorini Island
    After breakfast we board the morning ferry to the most enchanting and
    beautiful of all the Greek islands, world famous Santorini. Upon arrival we
    check into the Daedalus Hotel, surrounded by fragrant gardens and palm
    trees and only a stone’s throw away from the central square of Fira. This
    relaxing hotel enjoys a peaceful location next to the renowned Caldera of
    Santorini, away from the hustle and bustle of the city center.

    After lunch enjoy a panoramic tour of the island of Santorini ending in Oia,
    which is where you can see the most stunning sunsets in all of Greece.  
    After dinner Jen will facilitate a group discussion to explore the Heart and
    Soul Connections you have made so far and offer insights in how to move
    beyond self-doubt and fear.   Overnight: Daedalus Hotel Santorini

    Day 6: May19 Sun Meals: B,L / Dinner on your own   
    Visit to local Santorini Vineyards and wine tasting
    The volcanic soil and the special climate of Santorini give a unique
    taste to the local wines, famous all over the Mediterranean basin
    and currently exported to many countries of the world. Vinsanto,
    Nychteri and Mezzo are just some of the local varieties that can be
    found in many restaurants on the island. Delight your taste buds as
    you explore the magical world of vineyards and wine-making
    traditions of Santorini wines. Learn about the local grape varieties
    and the viticulture of Santorini while you take in the beauty of family
    owned vineyards, fantastic views from high atop the Cliffside and
    the scenic volcanic landscape. Afterward enjoy lunch and then
    return to the hotel. This afternoon you can accompany your guide
    on a walking tour of Fira town, the capital of Santorini or chill out
    and relax around the hotel pool.  Overnight: Daedalus Hotel
    Day 7: May 20 Mon   Meals: B / lunch and dinner on your own
    Today is yours to do exactly as you please for shopping, tours to historical sites
    and landmarks, beach time, sunset cruise or just relax by the pool. Your guide can
    offer optional tour suggestions and assist you with bookings. There is much to see
    and do in Santorini and something high on the list would be a visit to Ancient
    Akrotiri, said to be part of the Lost City of Atlantis.  Overnight Daedalus Hotel.  

    Day 8:   May 21 Tues  Meals B,  Group Farewell Dinner
    After breakfast we transfer to the port and travel back to Athens on the ferry.
    After checking into the Royal Olympic Hotel the afternoon is yours to enjoy some
    shopping in the Plaka area, just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The Plaka is full of
    wonderful shops and restaurants where you can enjoy lunch and do some people
    watching.Jen will facilitate a closing group discussion from 5 – 6:30 before your
    Farewell Dinner at a local Greek restaurant.   Overnight: Royal Olympic Hotel

Day 9: May 22 Wed    Meals: B
This morning the group will transfer to the airport for your flight back to your home city. You will not leave the magic of
Greece behind as you have connected with the Heart and Soul of this captivating land which has guided you back to the
connection with your own Heart and Soul Purpose. You have new like-minded Soul Friends to share with and keep that
connection alive and strong. Welcome Home!
