EXPLORE THE ANDEAN MYSTERIES OF PERU 
DAILY ITINERARY subject to slight changes left to the discretion of the tour operator and guide August 7, 2008. Thursday Miami-Lima Lima Our journey to the mystical land of Peru begins in Miami by boarding our late night non-stop international flight.
We will have 3 days to explore and experience the sacred sites of this beautiful valley. Here we will experience the magical place of Ollantaytambo (City of Dawn). We will walk in this original Incan town, visit the main altars and temples dedicated to the power animals of the Andean world. Discover the natural stone Temple of the Kondor. Perhaps the Apus (mountain spirits) will bless us with a visit from the Quero’s, (elder healers from the mountains) sharing a despacho ceremony. We will explore the archeological site of the Pisac ruins and walk in the footsteps of our ancestors and have time to shop for Peruvian treasures at the amazing Pisak Market where local crafts people come to sell handmade and unqiue items of all kinds. August 9, Saturday, Sacred Valley. B, L, D August 10, Sunday. Sacred Valley. B, L, D August 11, Monday. Early train to Machu Picchu. B, L, D. This morning we board the train for a 1 1/2 hour beautiful scenic ride along the sacred river to Machu Picchu. Arriving in Aguas Calientes we take the bus up the mountain to the Lost City in the Clouds. After lunch we explore the main power spots and temples of the Sacred Crystal City. August 12, Tuesday. Machu Picchu. B, D. For those early risers you may take the bus up to Machu Picchu for a sunrise ceremony with Jorge Luis before other tourists arrive. Begin the day by offering your blessings to the spirit of Pachamama. You may spend the day at leisure on your own in Macchu Picchu or do an optional hike to the Sun Gate, Huayna Picchu or Temple of the Moon with Jorge Luis. August 13, Wednesday. Machu Picchu / Cuzco. B. (entrance ticket – bus ticket not included today.) We have the morning free. You may return to Machu Picchu to spend some private time and have lunch, or have a private “sound ceremony” with a local shaman (If he is available). Late afternoon train to Cuzco. Overnight in Cuzco.
August 15 , Friday. Cuzco. B, L,D. Morning visit to the Temple of the Moon. Feel the power of this sacred cave as you “return to the womb”, the beginning, a rebirth of your sacred self. Once inside, you feel humbled by the aura of this ancient sacred space, a transformation has already begun. Experience a closing ceremony at the Heart Temple with Jorge Luis and Rev. Temple. This is a place of heart opening and healing, as you feel yourself infused with love, you remember who you are as a divine being of love and light. Lunch and return to Cusco, late afternoon free to rest or explore Cuzco. Farewell group dinner with Jorge Luis. August 16, Saturday. B. Morning flight from Cuzco back to Lima. We will have the afternoon free in Lima for shopping at nearby areas or to simply rest and relax. You will have a day room available at a nearby hotel to shower, rest and prepare for our late night flight from Lima back to Miami. August 17, Sunday. Early morning arrival in Miami, connect with your domestic flight to your home city. Welcome Home from this mystical and magical sacred journey through Peru. Lake Titicaca – Optional 5 day extension to the Power of Peru Tour Those taking the Lake Titicaca extension will fly from Cuzco to Juliaca on the last day of the main tour. Three million year old, Lake Titicaca is the sacred lake of the Incas, known for its sapphire blue color and the highly advanced civilizations developed on its shores. It is the largest and highest navigable lake in the world at 12,580 ft Titicaca is surrounded by the Altiplano, a high plane that starts in the northern Andes and stretches south ending at the world’s highest volcano, the Ojos del Salado. On its floating Euros islands, the natives have conserved the original cultures and techniques of the local reed boat builders. For centuries, Lake Titicaca has held great mystical and spiritual significence. Pre-Incan peoples believed the Sun diety and the sun itself had originally emerged from the lake. For the sun-worshipping Incas, it was considered the birthplace of mankind. Jorge Luis will share the sacred sites and his special power places that surround Lake Titicaca, his birthplace. Afternoon: free to explore the town of Puno, rest, relax, shop Overnight Puno DAY 4: Aug. 19 lunch upon arrival in Lima. Early morning flight from Juliaca to Lima. Day room at hotel in lovely Miraflores. Afternoon free to explore Miraflores, shop, rest, prepare for your flight home. Evening transfer to the airport in Lima for your international flight to Miami. Meals not specified in the itinerary My trip to Peru with Gayle was so much more than a mere trip, it was an awakening of the person I abandoned years ago to become a mother. Each step in Peru, brought me closer to knowing who I really am, and led me to the center of myself. A place that was long kept quiet, because of the needs of my family, as I am sure alot of mothers can understand. I experienced a true "Re-birth" in the Temple of the Moon, and since that day, have never been the same. I have learned the importance of "self care" and have begun to nurture friendships with the wonderful women friends I made during this spiritual journey. For any woman out there, who has not experienced this journey to self, I can tell you that making the decision to go to a sacred place, with a group of like minded women, will bring wonderful blessings to you. Love and Blessings, After much investigation of other groups going to Peru, I decided to join Gayle's group. I had talked with Gayle on the phone about the many aspects of the trip and each and every time she was responsive, straightforward and answered all of my questions. She sensed that I was making this trip as part of a personal journey to sort out areas in my life that were keeping me from my happiness and she offered me a clear perspective that this trip could be very helpful in many ways. Well, I had no way of knowing how the trip would indeed change my life. Well little did I know. I found all accomodations on the trip to be excellent and the shaman who accompanied us on the trip, Jorge, was beyond belief. The trip exceeded my expectations and as a result I was able to face my truth about my life, my choices and a relationship that needed to end. The group members were delightful; each with their own individual personality and reasons for joining the trip. When I returned home, I sold my townhome in 24 hours, ended a 10 year relationship and bought another townhome in a great location. Peru called me to come and with that choice I opened my heart to a new life and a newfound belief that I deserved love and happiness in my life. May Gayle's trips serve you in the same way.

Jorge was a great (hiking and spiritual) guide. I was glad to have someone with us who knows so much about the land, its people, and the history. He was also very insightful and gave me some great advice. The Andes Mountains and the ancient Incan buildings and temples were a wonderful backdrop to our hikes and spiritual ceremonies with Jorge. Overall, I especially enjoyed the balance of the physical and spiritual activities we participated in during the trip. One of my favorite things about the trip was that the very nature of your trips attracts some wonderful and interesting women. Even as the youngest person in the group, I felt very accepted and connected to almost everyone from Day One. I made some great friends that I hope to keep for the rest of my life! August 8, Friday. Cuzco / Sacred Valley. L, D. Early morning arrival in Lima, connect with our flight to Cuzco, capital of the Incan Empire located high in the Andes Mountains. We will be met by our Peruvian guide then board our private bus for a scenic drive to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. This will be a slow and relaxing day giving us time to acclimate to the higher altitude and adjust to our Andean Mountain surroundings.
August 14, Thursday. Cuzco. B, L. Full day tour of the main Incan altars around Cuzco. Purification ceremony with the “Uma” or water element at Tambo Machay balancing male and female, Puca Pucara, Q’enqo – where the Puma awakens, and the huge ceremonial center Sacsayhuaman, marked by the huge stone “paw of the Puma”. We will feel the energy and honor each of these sacred places. Moderate hiking required.
